ABOUT
Meetra Javed is a New York based writer, producer, and creative operations lead.
She has gained experience in three key areas: working as an agency producer, within major brands, and at production companies creating budgets and hiring crews. This diverse background has allowed her to effectively contribute to storytelling, partnerships, creative operations, and production management across different media.
She has played a crucial role in digital, social, and commercial projects for global campaigns, including documentary-style series, comprehensive ad campaigns, branded photography, out-of-home advertising, animated storytelling, and collaborations with artists and influencers. Many of her short films have been featured in Academy Award qualifying festivals. For the past few years, she has been a contributing Executive Producer at Underhill Films.
She’s also creative directed and produced several campaigns for Artnet, Lexus, Cadillac, and Dobel.

WOMENS HEALTH
She has also led and has been a key-speaker for the production of non-profit dinners for organizations like Planned Parenthood on women health rights, and Instagram in celebration for diversity. She has spent nearly one year as the consulting director of brand & production at Julie, a women’s emergency health contraceptive.
WRITING
Her first book, Standard Deviation is being released November 2024 and will be available at Perrotin Gallery, Bridget Donahue Gallery, Lichen, Dear Friend Books, Printed Matter, and Skylight books. Her writing work has been published by World Literature Today, Sonora Review, Columbia Journal (Columbia’s University), and more. Her work has been taught in academic programs.
Her most recent project for artist Misha Japanwala was filmed in Pakistan and covered by the NYTimes, The Guardian, and featured in Hannah Traore Gallery Summer of 2023.
